  2. World Cotton Research Conference - 5 (WCRC-5) at Mumbai, India. Nov. 7-11, 2011 presented oral presentation on Survival of pink bollworm Pectinophora gossypiella (Sauden) in Bt and non Bt cotton in normal and late sowing with a special emphasize to avoid population pressure.

  3. Delivered the key note address on “Monitoring of stored product insects using trapping technologies at 11th International working conference on stored product protection (IWCSPP) held at Thailand between 24th to 28th November, 2014. This is the first time an Indian scientist has been invited for key note address in the field of stored product insect trapping science in the international conference on stored product protection.

CONFERENCES ORGANIZED (INTERNATIONAL / NATIONAL)

I.  International Level

The Agricultural Graduate Student Conference (AGSC), is a two day event which is held in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore every year during May month. TNAU- AGSC is one of the leading student conferences in the agricultural sciences. TNAU-AGSC offers a stimulating venue for student research exchange and gives students the opportunity to broaden their social and scientific network. This scientific program includes a variety of student research from all over India and overseas, which will be presented in poster, oral or plenary form to an international and professional audience. Along with the student sessions, there will be fascinating keynote lecture, lead papers, etc. In addition to the extensive and rigorous scientific program, efforts are made for an elaborate social program, where one can get to know other participants and the TNAU crew.

a. Second Agricultural Graduate Student Conference entitled “Sustainable Agriculture to FUEL (Feed, Unite, Educate & Lead) the Future”

    2014 held  from 6.5.2014 to 7.5.2014.

 

b.Third Agricultural Graduate Student Conference entitled “Impact of climate risks on agricultural and horticultural productivity” held

    from 13.5.2015 to 14.5.2015.

c.Fourth Agricultural Graduate Student Conference entitled “Agricultural Skill Development to Foster the Future” held from 03.05.2016

   to 04.05.2016.

II.  National Level

First time organized a National Expo on “Assemblage of Innovative Ideas / Work of Post Graduate Agricultural Research Scholars” on 27th March 2015 at AC&RI,Madurai.
